About Us...

We are Jason & Lauren Rathburn, a couple of former restaurant folks living in the Seattle area who have been creating delicious meals and throwing wild pig parties for friends and family for years. When Jason got word of a smoker for sale in southern California, he took a chance and jumped in the truck to drive over 1100 miles and back again to bring Big Joe Turner home to the great Pacific Northwest.

What does one do when one impulse buys an enormous smoker? Cook for friends of course! These experimental meals turned into a serious conversation about what we promised ourselves we wouldn't do: start a real food business. We decided to hold a once monthly BBQ event to sell our meats, sides, and sauces to those interested in taking home a 100% homecooked meal.

 

Now here we are, with a genuine passion for creating thoughtful menus and bringing our years of knowledge and experience into this new chapter of our lives. Thanks for coming along, and we can't wait to cook for you!
